Curriculum at JeffcoNet
JeffcoNet Academy follows the Jefferson County School District calendar. Students are required to attend virtually from a personal computer Monday through Thursday. The teachers build and guide students virtually through interactive lessons that are easy to follow and engage the learner. Students will turn in online assignments through the BlackBoard system or through email.
Teachers are also available for individual tutoring and guidance Monday –Thursday on site at McLain High School to help support all virtual learning during the week.
Fridays are our day to shine! With mandatory attendance, our students use this time to connect with the teachers, other students and the material in their classes. Teachers use the two hour block with each class to tie together the knowledge, give direct instruction, participate in science experiments, create group projects, debate, discuss, and engage the students face to face.
